Italian teenage pop-opera sensation Il Volo is scheduled to perform a special concert Sunday, Oct. 23 at the Milwaukee Theatre to kick off the Italian Community Center's 2011-12 fundraising campaign.
The singing trio's inaugural performance in Milwaukee is part of its first North American tour to promote Il Volo's self-titled album, which was released in May.
Tickets to the 7:30 p.m. show are $78, $63 and $48 and go on sale Friday, Sept. 9 at 10 a.m. Proceeds will help the ICC fund educational endowments, scholarships and Italian cultural and language courses, as well as attract Italian cultural exhibits and performers to the city.
Tickets can be purchased in person at the Milwaukee Theatre box office Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., online or by phone at (800) 745-3000.
