Your votes are in, Milwaukee, and you have selected the winners of OnMilwaukee's Best Dining 2011. We're announcing the results of this readers' poll, including our editors' pick, in a series of articles that run all October long during Dining Month on OnMilwaukee.com.

For the fifth straight year, October is Dining Month on OnMilwaukee.com, presented by Concordia University. All month, we're stuffed with restaurant reviews, delectable features, chef profiles and unique articles on everything food, as well as the winners of our "Best of Dining 2011."

It wouldn't be fair to say the Cafe Hollanders wrote the book on beer, but with over 20 draft beers at both the Downer Avenue and Tosa Village locations – not to mention a literal book devoted to their full lineup and helpful tasting notes – voters agreed that they've got Belgium beer (or bier, rather) pretty well covered.

It makes sense that the Hollanders would take home the first-ever title of "Best Restaurant Beer List" since their focus is as much on the beer as it is the food. With over 40 different glasses just to serve the stuff, it's safe to say the beer is a big deal.

In fact, the Lowlands Group in general made a pretty respectable showing in this new category, taking 45 percent of the vote between Hollander and newbie Cafe Benelux in second place. We can't say no to an underdog here at OnMilwaukee.com, though, so our vote goes for Erv's Mug.
