Earlier this week, OnMilwaukee reported that Oak & Shield Gaming Pub would most likely move into the spot currently occupied by Karma Bar & Grill, 600 E. Ogden Ave.

Yesterday, during a Facebook Live special announcement, 42 Lounge owner Lynn Richter added to the news, saying she was moving her popular geek bar to the lower level of the Ogden Avenue building.

The opening date remain uncertain – Karma is still currently open – but Richter predicts her last day of operation at the current 42 Lounge location, 326 E. Mason St., will be March 17.

"We are really looking forward to many upsides of this move, including the opportunity to offer larger events and multiple events at the same time, as well as food and much better parking," says Richter.

Stay tuned to OnMilwaukee for more information about the opening of Oak & Shield and 42 Lounge in the near future.

"In the mean time, we encourage people to go to Karma and take advantage of what they still have to offer," says Richter.
